The US President Donald trump said that the stream “pipeline money” in Russia is unacceptable. About this he wrote in Twitter.
“NATO countries since my last visit in the past year, spending billions of dollars, at my request, but not enough. The United States spends too much. Europe’s borders are bad. Pipeline dollars to Russia is unacceptable,” said trump.
Earlier on July 12, the US said that companies involved in the pipeline project “Nord stream-2”, threaten sanctions. “We have made clear that companies operating in the sector of Russian export pipelines, run a business, which carries the risk of sanctions”, — reads the statement of the state Department.
“Nord stream-2” gas pipeline project between Russia and Germany, which will run under the Baltic sea. The total capacity of the project is estimated at 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The pipeline is scheduled for late 2019.
