The President of the United States Donald trump is Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the first place vis-a-vis the upcoming negotiations, said the official representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the words of the American President on competition with Putin. About it reports TASS on Friday, July 13.
Peskov also said that following the talks, the two leaders of the joint communiqué is not planned, because it is not a mandatory attribute of such meetings. “Applications will be made directly by the two presidents at the summit”, — he added.
Thursday, July 12, at a press conference in the headquarters of NATO in Brussels trump said that he expects that Putin will ever be his friend. He stressed that now it is impossible because they are very poorly know each other.
Trump and Putin will meet on 16 July in Helsinki. The sides will discuss bilateral relations and issues of the Syrian and Ukrainian settlement. This will be the first full meeting of the two presidents without reference to the summits.
