The incidence of HIV grew up in Moscow by 20 percent

In Moscow in 2017 was 20.4 per cent more cases of infection with the human immunodeficiency virus, a year earlier. This is stated in the statistics published on the website of the Ministry of health .

In the capital in 2016 was revealed by 2.4 thousand cases of infections, in 2017 — 2.9 thousand people. In two regions — the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and in the Republic of Tuva, the increased incidence exceeded 100 per cent (of 151.7 and a cash consideration of 133,3%)

In the published statistics there is no information on the total number infected with HIV. However, according to the AIDS Centre of the Federal service, was the total number of Russians with HIV has reached 1 million 221 thousand people (living and dead). At the end of 2017 the country’s population of over 944 thousand people with HIV, says RBC.

April 18, Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said. that the country only one in three HIV-infected person on antiretroviral therapy.
