The UK authorities are conducting secret talks with Ecuador, desiring to evict the WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange from the Embassy of the South American country. Reported by the Daily Mail.

Sources close to Assange, I believe that the situation for asylum cannot be undone, and he does not know about the negotiations. In March of this year he was deprived of access to the Internet and imposed restrictions on visitors.

The President of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, has ordered to cancel additional security measures at the Embassy, which cost the budget of 3.7 million pounds. However, the Embassy notes that psychological and physical conditions Assange has deteriorated.

According to the Sunday Times, the Minister of foreign Affairs of great Britain sir Alan Duncan takes part in these negotiations, which take place a few weeks before the official visit to Moreno, who called Assange “an inherited problem”.

In early January 2018, it became known that the Embassy of Ecuador in London, wanted to expel Assange because of his domestic habits and lack of basic hygiene. Then the doctors who examined the journalist, said that the retreat was a bad influence on his psyche and body.

Assange in 2012 took refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy fearing extradition to Sweden, where he was charged with rape. In may 2017, the investigation was terminated, but Assange still fears extradition to the Swedish authorities, as the city of Stockholm will give him over to the US where he could face the death penalty for publishing classified information.
