The European Union has restricted supplies of poultry meat from Russia in connection with the spread of avian influenza in the country. This is stated in the materials of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
In particular, the virus was registered in Rostov, Kursk, Samara, Penza and Orel regions. According to Rosselkhoznadzor, now poultry meat to the EU export 18 Russian enterprises.
The ban directly affected the poultry meat, semi-finished products from it, meat products, not undergone heat treatment, as well as products of animal origin containing materials obtained from poultry.
Previously, due to avian influenza import of poultry products 36 Russia banned Kazakhstan. Among the prohibited goods were live birds, eggs, fluff and feather, poultry, raw feed additives and feed for birds.
