Gerard Depardieu has accumulated tax debts in Saransk

French actor Gerard Depardieu has amassed a tax debt in Saransk, and the bailiffs are unable to recover it from him. The information contained in the database of debtors on the website of the Federal bailiff service of Russia.

As noted in the database, the enforcement proceedings to recover the debt against the actor filed on 13 June and 28 June stopped him. The reason is that the bailiffs are unable to find the property Depardieu to impose on him the arrest. And all taken by the judicial police officers-executors of actions on search of property of the actor were inconclusive.

The amount detained Depardieu, the database is not specified.

Gerard Depardieu became a Russian citizen in January 2013. He received from President Vladimir Putin’s passport for a significant contribution to the development of culture and cinema, but at the same time, have kept French nationality. In February of the same year Depardieu was registered in Saransk.

Depardieu announced his decision to renounce citizenship of France in December 2012.
