Italy prepared to resist the anti-Russian sanctions

Italy will be one of the first votes, campaigning for the lifting of sanctions against Russia, said the Minister of internal Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini. His words RIA Novosti reported.

“Italy wants to overcome the sanctions regime to open channels of dialogue (…) European banks can give loans to small and medium-sized Russian companies”, — he said during his visit to Moscow on July 16.

According to the Italian Deputy Prime Minister, the aim of Rome is the removal of anti-Russian sanctions. In this regard, before the end of the year it is planned to hold a series of events. Conversation with President of Russia about cooperation between Russian and Italian enterprises to be held in October, said Salvini.

Earlier on July 16 the portal passed that arrived in Moscow Sunday, 15 July, the politician is set to “resumption of cooperation with Moscow and the maintenance of dialogue.” During the visit, he also discussed with representatives of the Russian security Council, the fight against illegal migration, and also met with the Minister of internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev, who spoke about the fight against terrorism.

Salvini became Deputy Prime Minister of Italy from June 1, 2018 after the beginning of March this year, Italy held parliamentary elections, the results of which a majority of the votes the voters gave the eurosceptics and the populists party “five star Movement and Northern League”.
