The Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia and Italy have started a joint fight against international drug trafficking and intend to expand cooperation in combating terrorism and control migration flows. On Monday, July 16, said “the Tape.ru” the press service of the MIA of Russia.

As noted, the agreement reached between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of internal Affairs of Italy Matteo Salvini and the Minister of internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev. Kolokoltsev commended the level of bilateral dialogue in the fight against transnational organized crime.

“Contacts in the format of working groups provide great opportunities for joint activities and creating conditions for planned carrying out quickly-investigation actions, investigation of specific criminal cases, and also for the exchange of relevant information”, — he stressed.

In turn, I thanked Kolokoltseva for organizing public security during the world Cup: “the whole world is on Russia’s perception as a very beautiful and positive country. Your Ministry and the security service held a very important, intensive work in anticipation of this major event”.

10 July it became known that the Minister expressed readiness of the Ministry of interior to consider the various initiatives of volunteers, including those related to the monitoring of the Internet on the subject of prohibited information, the prevention of drug abuse and juvenile crime.
