Labor Minister Maxim Topilin told who will not affect the increase in the retirement age. About it reports TASS.
“The bill does not propose to increase the retirement age for various social categories, for mothers who have raised five children, and is not expected to increase the retirement age [for those] who suffered as a result of various radiation accidents,” — said Topilin.
In addition, according to the head of Department, raising the retirement age will not affect citizens working at harmful and dangerous productions.
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev announced a wide-ranging pension reform on 14 June. The essence of the system changes will be reduced to increase the retirement age to 65 years for men and 63 years for women. In return, the government promised to increase payments to pensioners who live to the new retirement age.
