In the Kostroma region and KCR clean water is 66.7 percent of the population in the Kurgan — 69,3 percent. This problem also existed in the Tula region and the Republic of Buryatia.
100 percent good drinking water is available to only Moscow, St. Petersburg and North Ossetia. Earlier, a similar high figure was in Altai.
The Ministry said that in the whole country, more clean water flows into the city, and more dirty — in the village.
The number of deaths and diseases associated with water pollution, in 2012 in Russia decreased by 5.2 and 10 percent, respectively.
