Former Secretary of the Oktyabrsky district court of St. Petersburg Alexander Eyvazov for obstruction of justice, sentenced to 1 year and 10 months of a colony-settlements. It is reported RAPSI with reference to the joint press-court service (OPS) of St. Petersburg .

“On account of the sentence Ibrahimov read the detention since August last year at the rate of one day in jail for two days in a colony-settlement”, — reported in the OPS. Measure Ibrahimov upheld. In a colony, the convict should be sent under convoy.

Lawyer Ivan Pavlov representing interests Eyvazov, stated that his client does not agree with the verdict will be acquittal.

As follows from the materials of the case, November 15, 2016 Eyvazov as a court clerk recorded the course of the judicial investigation in the criminal case. In accordance with the criminal procedure code of Russia, the Secretary shall make and sign the Protocol of the court session within three days.

However, according to the investigation, on the basis of personal animosity towards the judge and out of a desire to reverse the verdict Eyvazov to 29 December 2016 deliberately not produced and has not signed the part of the trial record. He was charged under part 3 of article 294 of the criminal code (“Obstruction of justice by using his official position”).
