The talks of Russian President Vladimir Putin and us leader Donald trump “decreased cleft” in understanding the issues. This opinion was expressed by the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov at a press briefing in the foreign Ministry, reports “Interfax”.

The diplomat noted that the meeting he was like: “I think the two presidents felt each other”. He added that the conversation of the heads of state were substantive and serious.

According to Antonov, trump really listened to Putin during the negotiations, even though it does not mean that he agrees. “It seemed to me that the great cleft in understanding the issues as bilateral relations and international issues, became a little bit less,” — said the Ambassador.

The head of the diplomatic mission also noted that Moscow will help the Tramp with the establishment of bilateral relations.

The first full meeting of Putin and trump was held in Helsinki on 16 July. The negotiations lasted almost four hours. After them, the American President stated that bad relations between the States both sides are to blame.
