Cybercriminals have learned how to control the phone numbers users for hacking social networking, writes Motherboard.
According to the publication, the attackers intercept access accounts and sell database with authorization information on the black market.
On a new method of hacking the Motherboard is recognized when the publication asked a married couple from the suburbs of salt lake city, became a victim of hackers. Excited couple called the police, however law enforcers were unable to help them. Then the husband of the blackmail victims went to the FBI, where he was informed that the investigation of this group of hackers is already underway.
Informed victims of blackmail scams from the network warned that the attackers began to send you letters threatening to publish an intimate video allegedly recorded on a webcam. They demanded a large ransom, however, as suggested by experts, most likely, no intimate video the Blackmailers really do not.
