Another 14 Russian athletes accused of doping

The international Association of athletics federations (IAAF) was suspected of violating anti-doping rules 14 Russian athletes. About it reports TASS.

The investigation was launched after a review of data from the report of the independent Commission of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) under the leadership of Richard McLaren. In the list, in particular, are world champion in the triple jump lyukman Adams and Olympic champion in the high jump Ivan Ukhov. Athletes of the case pending before court of arbitration for Sports (CAS).

Getting athletes on the list of suspects does not lead to their direct suspension from participation in competitions. “For example, Ivan Ukhov, according to which the proceedings has the right to speak in the same League of Russia, as it is not imposed a provisional suspension,” he told the anti-doping coordinator of the all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla) Elena Ikonnikova.

In November 2015, the IAAF has suspended the membership of the club because of the anti-doping rule violations and still not regained it. Russian athletes were allowed a speech at the international competitions in neutral status. The application of the Russians to participate in the tournaments were considered individually.
