The President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. This was reported on the Kremlin website on Saturday, July 21.
“Special attention is paid to the humanitarian aspects of the Syrian settlement, including realization of joint Russian-French initiative to assist the population in Eastern ghouta,” the statement reads.
Earlier on 21 July, the Russian military-transport aircraft delivered from France on the Syrian vase videoconferencing Russia in Hamima 44 tons of humanitarian aid, reports “Interfax”. Putin and macron agreed in June at the St. Petersburg international economic forum.
The game includes medications and medical equipment, clothing, house and basic necessities. They will be delivered to Eastern ghouta. The distribution will be the responsibility of the Center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria and the Syrian Arab red Crescent.
France became the first country in the European Union, agreed to help Syria. May 25, macron has announced that it will allocate 50 million euros for these purposes.
