Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva, who changed coach and moved to Canada, told about peculiarities of work with Brian Orser. She shared details of the training in an interview during the show Dreams on Ice, the video is available in Instagram team_orser.

“Brian has opened for me, probably brand new world: how to sit on the foot where to direct the horse. I even could not imagine that it can be done,” — said Medvedev.

The athlete admitted that the coming season will be full of change. She said she didn’t want to stand still and intends to “augment, transform your image.”

July 12, Medvedev spoke about the benefits of life in Canada. In particular, the skater was impressed by the openness and friendliness of the people. In addition, she called plus the peace of the country.

In may 2018 Medvedev left Eteri Tutberidze to Orser and decided to train in Canada. At the Olympics in Pyeongchang Medvedev has twice won the silver medal, losing the gold in figure skating compatriot Aline Sagitova.
