Actor, “Guardians of the Galaxy” stood up for dismissed because of pedophile jokes Gann

The star of a fantastic franchise “Guardians of the Galaxy” Dave Bautista (who plays Drax the Destroyer) supported the Director of the first and second parts of James Gunn, which was banned to film a third movie because of the provocative jokes seven years ago. The actor stood up for the filmmaker on Twitter.

“James Gunn is one of the most caring and kind people I have ever met. He is polite, kind and cares about people and animals. He’s made mistakes. We all did them. I don’t agree with what was happening to him now,” wrote Battista.

In the comments to the post of artist users ‘ opinions were divided. Some members agreed with Batista and said that the joke about pedophilia is not the same as pedophilia. Others felt that the jokes about pedophilia legitimizing it in the eyes of society and therefore inadmissible.

On 21 July it became known that the Studio Walt Disney was fired by James Gunn, who was working on the third part of “Guardians of the Galaxy”. It happened because of the scandal with provocative posts on Twitter, which he published around 2008 to 2011. In these, the filmmaker joked on themes of pedophilia, rape and AIDS.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” was released in 2014 and 2017 respectively. The premiere of the third part was planned for 2020.
