Riders Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme will travel from Moscow to Vladivostok

24 July in Moscow from the square of the Revolution starts ultra-marathon road race stage of the Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme (RBTSE). About it the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

RBTSE — the longest race, the total length of the 15 stages is 9100 km. Path participants will pass through Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk and finishing on August 17 in Vladivostok. Athletes will cross five climatic and eight time zones, more than 80 kilometres of slopes and spend in the saddle over three weeks.

To participate in the race came six athletes: the winner of the Race Across America in 2016, the silver medalist RBTSE-2017 Pierre Bischoff (Germany), member of the RBTSE 2016 and 2017 Marcelo Florentino Soares (Brazil), Russian road Bicycle racer Vladimir Gusev, the participant RBTSE-2017 Mikael Knudsen (Denmark), and Patricio Doucet (Spain) and Amit Samart (India).

Race held in 2013. The winner RBTSE-2017 was the Russian Alexey Shchebelin. The athlete overcame 9156 kilometers for 312 hours 16 minutes 58 seconds.
