The Russian airline will increase fuel surcharge due to the cost of kerosene. About it reports “Kommersant”.
The publication explains that carriers are forced to take this step due to the spring jump in fuel prices by 20 percent. Directly the airline has not yet spoken about the price increase, but recognize that the tickets “will inevitably become more expensive”. The newspaper said that if the current trend continues, “in the winter season tickets to package tours may rise by 10 percent.”
In early June, the Association of air transport operators warned of a possible increase in ticket price policy of manufacturers of aviation kerosene and refueling companies.
On 23 July it was reported that retail prices for gasoline in Russia fell. In the period from 16 to 20 July the cost of AI-92 and AI-95 fell by an average of 4 and 9 cents, and 44.5 to 41.7 rubles per liter, respectively.
