The Federal tourism Agency said the number of Russian travelers, who are in the fire covered the region of Attica in Greece. This is the official website of the Department.
According to tour operators, in a dangerous area now for about two thousand Russian tourists, but none of them has not received calls to the hotline of the Federal tourism Agency. The Agency States that their life and health threatens nothing.
Also, travelers are advised to observe the instructions of the Greek authorities and not to visit the fire area.
On 23 July it was reported that about 50 people have died in resorts in Greece due to heavy fires which broke out in the region of Attica. Later, however, the death toll has risen to 70. According to eyewitnesses, many people had to jump in the water to escape from the fire.
The coast guard managed to evacuate more than 700 people escaped from fires on the beach. The Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras urged local residents to abandon their belongings and run from the fire.
