American fighter mixed martial (MMA) Kevin Lee said he does not believe that the battle between Russian Habib Nurmagomedov and Irishman Conor McGregor will take place. The word athlete leads MMA Talk.
“I don’t think the fight will go. Someone will be removed. For example, Habib will find some reason to withdraw. But I’m ready to replace it in this case,” said Lee.
Nurmagomedov will meet with McGregor on October 6 at the UFC 229. The fight will take place in Las Vegas. Nurmagomedov has not suffered a single defeat in his professional career, he has 26 wins in 26 fights. He holds the title of the champion of UFC in the lightweight division. McGregor is a former champion of UFC in semi-lightweight and lightweight. He has 21 wins and three defeats.
Prior to this, the Russian four times failed to get into the octagon against American Tony Ferguson. Three times a fight was cancelled because someone they were injured, in one case, Nurmagomedov went to the hospital because of accelerated “drying”.
