Serving a life gunman got 20 more years in prison

The Supreme court of Chechnya on Tuesday acknowledged Yusuf Krymshamkhalov, is already serving a life sentence for involvement in the attacks, guilty of infringement of life of law enforcement officers. On Tuesday, August 7, citing the press-service of management of FSB of Russia in the Stavropol region, reports “Interfax”.

Krymshamhalov convicted under part 2 of article 209 of “Banditry” and article 317 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“the Encroachment on life of the employee of law enforcement body”). He was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment in a colony of special regime. “In the course of investigation krymshamhalov fully admitted his guilt,” — said in the message.

According to the press-service of boundary management of FSB as a result of a complex quickly-search actions documented additional episodes of criminal activity Krymshamhalov. “Proved his involvement in an armed attack against servicemen of the Federal forces near the village of Chervlennaya of Shelkovskoy district of the Chechen Republic in 1999”, — have noted in UFSB.

According to the investigation, krymshamhalov voluntarily joined the armed groups operating in the territory of Chechnya.

They were found guilty of involvement in the apartment bombings in Moscow and Volgodonsk. These terrorist attacks were committed in September 1999, and then killed 243 people.
