Financial reserves of Ukraine reduced, causing concern of the national Bank. In the accounts of the Ministry of Finance recorded the lowest reserve funds over the past four years, according to Bloomberg.
The publication notes that Ukraine will not be able to get help until settle differences with the International monetary Fund (IMF). According to the Agency, the country has not received from the Fund a tranche in the amount of $ 1.9 billion. This blocks the opportunity to receive financial support from other parties. According to experts, delay in receiving a tranche from the IMF threatens chaos which has affected other developing countries.
As of August 1, the state of government coffers is estimated at UAH 2 billion.
One of the conditions for the allocation of assistance to Ukraine from the IMF — the increase in gas prices for the population by a third. Now consumer price is nearly 5,000 hryvnia (184 dollars). The Ukrainian government is in no hurry to meet this requirement. The authorities took the decision to leave the price unchanged until the autumn.
In Kiev believe that the cost of fuel in the country will decrease after it is deployed full-scale gas production. It is assumed that after that the country will refuse of gas purchases abroad, including in Russia.
