Tagansky district court of Moscow sentenced to prison terms of two former police officers who arrested a passer-by for his remark. This was reported on the website of the Moscow Prosecutor’s office.
August 25, 2016, Burulko Alexei and Nikolai Pervakov, who served in the Metropolitan, arrested the man, using violence to him, and placed in a chamber containing violators of the administrative articles.
“The reason for the illegal actions of the police was the observation that a passerby did their counterparts on the inadmissibility of Smoking in a public place”, — stated in the message.
In relation to former police officers were prosecuted for abuse of office, committed with violence (part 3 of article 286 of the criminal code). They fully admitted his guilt.
The court sentenced Pervakova to 3 years 9 mesecam imprisonment, Burulko to 3 years 6 months of imprisonment in a General regime colony. Also men are denied the right to hold positions in law enforcement associated with the functions of representative government, for two years.
