From flying to Sochi passenger plane engine caught fire

Passenger aircraft Tu-204, flying from Ufa to Sochi, returned to the airport because of a fire in one of the engines. About it reports “Interfax” citing a source in the emergency services.

Onboard the liner there were 207 passengers. According to the interlocutor of the Agency, the passengers and crew were not injured.

It is noted that the plane caught fire on the left engine, the commander decided on returning to earth. At the airport the airliner met the troops of firefighters and ambulance.

At the end of September 2017 during takeoff, the An-148 aircraft, EN route from Novosibirsk to Irkutsk, the engine caught fire. The crew managed to eliminate the fire and make a successful landing. The aircraft was sent for repairs, no injuries were reported.
