Two employees of a corrective colony №8 (IR-8), located in the Yaroslavl region, is detained on suspicion in application of violence to persons serving sentences. On Wednesday, August 29, reports the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
“It is established that on 29 November 2016 V IK-1 UFSIN of Russia in Yaroslavl region held a planned security measures with the involvement of the staff of IR-8. During following group of convicts running down the corridor staff [IR-1 and IR-8] of the prisoners inflicted multiple blows with hands, feet and rubber truncheons”, — stated in the message.
On suspicion of a crime detained two employees of the IR-8, Sardor Zubov and Dmitry Nikitenko. The investigation seeks the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention.
On 24 August it was reported that the TFR has opened a second criminal case in connection with beating of prisoners in Yaroslavl IR-1.

On the frame 10 in the form of a long and methodically hit the legs lying on the table in the middle of the room a man, handcuffed, sprinkled his head with water from a bucket. RCDS filed a case of abuse of power. Was arrested 12 suspects, 17 prison staff suspended from work.
