Chechen authorities support the proposals of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on easing the provisions of the pension reform, which he announced during a televised address to the nation. The head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel Wednesday, August 29.
“We strongly support the proposed Mr measures with the understanding that he deeply studied all the options and offers people the best of them!” — wrote the Chechen leader.
Kadyrov said “the solid will, wisdom and foresight” of the President, who directly appealed to the citizens for an acute problem. In addition, according to him, Putin decided on this statement, knowing that “different opposition forces will try for political purposes to exploit the situation”.
“Delay with reforms can lead to more serious consequences. So the President says that we have to make difficult, difficult, but necessary decision”, — said Kadyrov.
Earlier Wednesday, the head of state announced the relaxing of regulations for governmental reform. In particular, he said about reducing the age of retirement for women to 63 years, as was in the original draft, up to 60 years. Putin admitted that the decision about the feasibility of reforming the pension system was not easy for him, but the old order does not take into account the changed demographic and economic situation. He also assured the Russians that the main goal of the reforms is to ensure the stability of the pension system of the country.
