Drunken Jews fought with the Ukrainians and delayed flights

A group of drunken Hasidim flying on a pilgrimage to Uman (Ukraine), had a fight with the crew of the airline Ukraine International, reports Israel Info Thursday, August 30.

The incident occurred in the Israeli airport Ben-Gurion after boarding. Drunken Jews began to quarrel with the flight attendants, and then staged a fight in the plane. The aircraft commander called the police, the law enforcement officers took eight of the Hasidim. As a result, the flight was delayed for three hours.

The airline representative said that every year the Exodus of religious Jews to Uman, where they meet the Jewish New year (Rosh Hashanah) at the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, accompanied by unseemly and riotous behaviour of the pilgrims. According to him, among the passengers is always a lot of drunk and there are even people who come to the reception without a ticket to ask other generous pilgrims.

Rabbi Nachman is known as the founder of the Bratslav Hasidic Judaism — religious movements in Judaism. On the Jewish New year his grave in the Ukraine is visited by thousands of pilgrims.

Earlier on August 29 on Board the plane “Ural airlines”, EN route from Moscow to Dushanbe between two passengers and a fight ensued, injuring a flight attendant. The incident occurred immediately after takeoff. Flight attendants are unable to separate the combatants, one of the flight attendants injured person, and the pilot decided to return to the airport Zhukovsky.
