Greece gave fought for Syrian terrorists Russian

Greece extradited to Russia the native of the Republic of Tatarstan, located in the international wanted list on suspicion of involvement in hostilities on the side of terrorists in Syria. On Thursday, August 30, in the Center of public relations of the FSB told RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the 30-year-old man is a supporter of the religious extremist ideology. According to the FSB, the suspect went to Syria in 2014 and becoming a member of the international terrorist organization, participated in the fighting against government troops.

Later, he was hiding on the territory of the countries of the Middle East and Africa and then arrived in the European Union, which wanted to legalize their presence in Europe. In January 2018 he was arrested in Athens and placed under arrest.

The FSB said that the Russian law enforcement bodies provided by the Greek security forces evidence of criminal activity of the suspect and Greece have agreed to extradite him to Russia.

On 27 July it was reported that Moscow’s Basmanny court sanctioned the arrest in absentia of the accused of involvement in the death of the pilot of su-25 of the Novel Filipova, downed in Syria on the territory controlled by terrorists.
