In the Russian social network “Vkontakte” appeared the chief of the army of Myanmar Aung Hline, whose name figured in the UN report on the genocide of the Muslim population of Rohingya, says RBC.

Earlier Hline page was blocked by Facebook administration. It is noted that the pages in “Vkontakte” the army chief of Myanmar military sources confirmed. “There are indications that the army of Myanmar is starting to attract new users via VK”, — stated in the message.

At the moment, the page is more than 16 thousand subscribers. Representatives of the social network said that to monitor the publications in the community and on the pages users were hired moderators who speak the Burmese language. “Publishing incitement to violence would be removed by our team of moderators, and users who post them will be blocked,” said they.

Previously, on 27 August, the UN investigators presented a report which stated that Myanmar troops committed massacres and gang rape by members of the Muslim Rohingya people, with the intention of genocide.

Rohingya people, living mainly in Rakhine state in Myanmar. Its representatives profess Islam and consider themselves the indigenous population of the region. In the opinion of the majority of Burmese Buddhists, Rohingya people migrated to Burma from Bangladesh during the British rule. The current government of Myanmar believe that Rohingya militants terrorizing civilians.
