The baby white Rhino that was trying to protect her mother from poachers and could not have found a house and the other after three months of mourning her. His story, told newspaper Metro.
At the beginning of summer employees of the Kruger National Park, South Africa, found a dead female white Rhino with horn cut off and lying beside her-month baby with a sleep dart in his side. Judging by the fact that there were traces of blows of the machete, he tried to protect his mother. The Rangers believe that he managed to escape death only due to the fact that his horn has not increased.
A baby Rhino was taken to the animal shelter. It immediately began to heal and he called for his bravery, Arthur. Three months later, his wounds healed, but he keeps crying for his mother to call her. The shelter staff describe him as “woeful cries” as “heart sounds”.
Arthur took in the care of Safari zoo in Dalton British County of Lancashire. He has already managed to make friends with early orphaned female Rhino summer of his age. The zoo staff decided to tell the story of the animal, to raise money for its maintenance.
In the wild a baby Rhino stay with their mother for up to three years.
White rhinos are subjected to numerous attacks by poachers because of the superstition about the miraculous power of their horns, common among African peoples.
