“It is clearly stated in the draft Federal law. Yes, we in the North, the retirement age will also be raised for 5 years – but in relation to the current age. Women at 55 and men at 60. That is five years earlier than people in warm countries”, – said Kovtun.
According to her, the proposal of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about the additional benefits for large women should fix the problem of the demographic collapse of the 90s, so she brought more to such current solutions.
Existing regional incentives elderly citizens of Murmansk, according to the Governor, will also be saved.
Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin proposed to leave the existing retirement age for the indigenous peoples of the North.
