Employee of the airport in Sochi died of a heart attack as he helped evacuate the passengers of a burning Boeing 737. This is with reference to its source reported on Saturday, September 1, “Interfax”.

According to preliminary data, injured four people. Telegram-channel “112” reports about five. Some required hospitalization, including baby.

The cause of the failed landing could become adverse weather conditions. The interviewee noted that because of the heavy rain, the crew managed to put the liner on the first attempt, and then not kept on a slippery runway.

Earlier on Saturday it was reported that Boeing flying from Moscow, skidded off the runway, crashed into a fence and broke — he ignited the left engine. Eyewitnesses have shared video of the incident.
