The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said farewell to people’s artist of the USSR Joseph Kobzon. It is reported TASS with the funeral, which was held in the Concert hall named after Tchaikovsky in Moscow.
The head of state was held in the hall, laid flowers to the coffin and a few moments stood with his head bowed. The last memorial service were made by the son of people’s artist Andrei. He urged all present to say goodbye to his father with applause. Iosif Kobzon, died Thursday, August 30, at the age of 80 years. The cause of death of the pop singer became the fourth stage of cancer: 15 years of fighting with the disease. He will be buried at Vostryakovskoye cemetery in Moscow on 2 September near the grave of his mother.
