Italian actress Ornella Muti has admitted that he would like to get Russian citizenship, as spelled out in Moscow and often arrived in the Russian capital. Muti reminded that her ancestors on the maternal side hails from Russia. “My grandfather was one of the doctors of the Russian Tsar. Grandmother was a pianist, also a singer. Maybe we are artistic thanks to the Russian roots,” she said.
The actress has expressed confidence that in the production which will premiere September 10 at the Kremlin Palace, she will be able to speak well in Russian. “I very much hope that I will succeed. Very sorry that there are some difficulties with the Russian language,” added Muti.
