The Russians got a suspended sentence for a song in “Vkontakte”

Tyumen district court found a local resident by the name of Kuznetsov guilty under part 1 article 282 (“inciting hatred or enmity, humiliation of human dignity”) for what he posted on the page in social network “Vkontakte” audio — “Gapon (Customs Control) — I’m Russian”. On Monday, September 3, reports “Kommersant”.

Kuznetsov was sentenced to one year and six months conditionally with a trial period of one year.

“The audio recording contained the indirect call to destroy the representatives of the peoples of the Caucasus and Central Asia, to excite enmity and hatred of those who profess Islam,”— said in court. The convict fully admitted his guilt, so the criminal case was considered in a special order.

On 28 August it was reported that an employee of the center “e” of the interior Ministry for the Altai Krai Vadim Strelkov working the case persecuted for memes Mary Motunau, said that the hour has viewed more than ten thousand images on her page in “Vkontakte”.
