According to the woman, that day de Koeman left work earlier than usual, around noon, drove to a house on Serafimovich street and asked the driver to wait for him at the door, promising he’d be back soon. Upstairs he was met by some people, convinced Meunier. “They hit him and threw out of the window, — said the mother of the deceased. — I want to know the truth.”
Federal Prosecutor of Belgium began its own investigation of this incident. As explained Agency spokesman Eric van der SIPT, while there is no reason not to trust the version of the Russian investigators, who believe that de Koeman committed suicide. According to him, currently, the Belgian Prosecutor’s office is trying to collect as much information as possible on the case and plans to contact the Russian investigative authorities to work together.
Van der SIPT added that Belgian prosecutors also hope to question a driver de Coro, a citizen of Belgium, who became a witness to the death of a top Manager.
