The coordinator of the movement “Left front” Sergei Udaltsov has stopped his hunger-strike, said his wife Anastasia Udaltsova. It was quoted by RIA Novosti on Wednesday, September 5.
“Friends, today is 22 days as Sergei Udaltsov is under arrest. But there is good news. Yesterday in connection with poor health and poor performance, which he was discharged Monday from the hospital, he began to drink, but the hunger strike to end no plans,” — said Udaltsov.
Meshchansky court in Moscow August 14, Udaltsov was arrested for 30 days for violations in the organization of public events. Shortly thereafter, because of disagreement with the decision of the court, he stopped eating and drinking. On 19 August he was hospitalized.
