Members of the legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg can open the autumn session a day early due to the procession. This was “Fontanka” said several members.

According to sources, the initiator of the transfer was the speaker of the legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Makarov, who wants to take part in the procession. 12 September, on Nevsky Prospekt will be held a traditional procession in honor of the relics of Alexander Nevsky in the Alexander Nevsky Lavra.
At the first meeting of the St. Petersburg deputies plan to consider the bill on benefits for transport and utilities payment for women 55 years, men — 60 years. The bill related to pension reform. The Russian authorities are going to raise the retirement age to 65 years for men and 60 years for women. Federal draft law passed its first reading in July and caused a negative reaction from the citizens.
