The presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan agreed to continue the dialogue. This was reported by press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports RIA Novosti.
“The presidents agreed to continue the dialogue”, — he said.
Earlier, Erdogan announced that he was ready to meet with Putin after his trip to Germany, which is scheduled for the end of September. “The foreign Ministers, defence Ministers and intelligence will continue intensive dialogue with the Russian delegation. We’ll meet again with Mr Putin after a trip to Germany”, — quotes its words Yeni Şafak.
The latter currently meeting between the two leaders took place in early September, during talks in Tehran. The main issue was the situation in Syria. Then Putin announced that illegal armed groups are preparing a provocation there, including with the use of chemical weapons.
Erdogan in turn said that militants in the Syrian province of Idlib, it is possible to move to other areas. He also offered to stop the attacks on the province and to declare a truce.
