Voting at polling stations in the Eastern regions of Russia ended, there began the counting of votes. About it reports TASS. In other regions, the vote continues.
As of 13:00 Moscow time voting ended in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories. In Primorye was elected the Governor of the region, more than 250 deputies in the local Council, two deputies to the Legislative Assembly of the territory and 12 heads of settlements. In the territorial election Commission has provided preliminary data on the turnout: according to estimates, the vote came 26.55 percent of the voters. For comparison, in 2014 the figure was more than 32 percent.
The vote in the Chukotka region, where the elected Governor, ended at 11:00 Moscow time. At 14:00 closed areas in Yakutia and the Amur region.
Of Siberian regions on the turnout is the leader of the Kemerovo region: it amounted to 47.59 percent.
In the single voting day on September 9 in 80 regions of Russia is more than 4.7 thousand elections of different level, in the voter lists included about 65 million people. The vote followed more than 120 thousand observers.
