The assassination of former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia with nerve agents “Newbie” was organized by a group of six people called “Cleaners”, writes the Daily Mirror, citing a source in the security services in the UK.
In addition, Aleksander Petrov, and Ruslan Bashirov, the operation involved four people, the source said. Petrov and Bashirov flew to London’s Gatwick airport on March 2, and the rest arrived in the UK around the same time through other airports. He was able to provide Spanish information about Russian organized crime, including groups that may be associated with the Russian authorities. Moscow denies any involvement in the assassination Skrobala.
