In St. Petersburg, police ate the food that the relatives of the detainees transferred in an inconsistent rally against pension reform on September 9. This “Mediazone” said lawyer Yuri Both, representing the interests of activists in Primorsky district court.
Both noted that to transfer food directly to the participants it was not possible, so a package of food left in the van where the detainees were brought from the Department to the courthouse.
“I asked the driver if we could keep and give to Lee. Replied: “Yes.” Later saw the officers [police] already eat up the food in this package”, — said the lawyer.
9 September in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities held an unsanctioned rally against raising the retirement age, which ended with clashes with the police. According to “OVD-info”, all over Russia were detained more than a thousand people, most of them in St. Petersburg. Abused by guards charged three people.
