MPs in Tanzania banned the wearing of false nails and eyelashes

The speaker of the Parliament of Tanzania job Ndugai said that women MPs can not enter the Parliament building with artificial nails and eyelashes, according to the portal The Citizen.

“By the power vested in me by the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, from now on, I forbid all members of Parliament with fake nails and eyelashes to enter the building,” said Ngugi. He noted that in the future the decision might relate to and those who use too much makeup.

The speaker explained that the ban was influenced by the statement of the Minister of health of the country Faustina Hugoline. According to him, at least 700 women in the country annually suffer from complications associated with the use of false eyelashes, nails and skin whitening.

On Tuesday, September 11, the President of Tanzania John Magufuli advised its citizens to abandon contraception. According to him, contraceptive use lazy people who don’t want to work and support his large family.
