Roskoshestvo conducted a study of the most popular brands of cottage cheese with a fat content of nine percent, the results of which are published on the website of the organization. Only a third of the samples meet all the requirements.
Experts on behalf of the government checked the cheese 73 brands. The study was carried out on 25 parameters of quality and safety, such as milk and starter, the likelihood of fraud, the presence of mold, yeast and hazardous micro-organisms.
According to the results of the study were considered as the best 17 brands. Among them, the “White city”, “Kubanskaya Burenka”, “Batushka”, “Vozhgaly”, “Krasnogorskiy”, “Slavmo” and “Pershino”. Also high Russian standards complies with cheese under the brand “Brest-Litovsk”, but he can’t claim the Mark of quality from that produced in Belarus.
In 8 cases were revealed falsification of cottage cheese vegetable fats, in 11 samples showed elevated levels of antibiotics. Six manufacturers made content in their products of coliform bacteria, 14 yeast and mold.
