The Verkhovna Rada supported the presidential bill on the introduction in the army “Bandera” greeting “Glory to Ukraine”. About it reports TASS.
The document introduces changes in the charters of internal, garrison and guard services of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) and in the drill regulations of the armed forces. “The greeting of the chief or senior military rank of “Glory to Ukraine” all military personnel in the ranks, say: “glory to the Heroes”,” — said in the new edition of the statutes. In addition, an appeal to members outside the building is replaced with “comrade” to “pan”.
In August the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the parade on the occasion of the independence Day of the country promised to legalize in the army the slogan “Glory to Ukraine”. The bill on introduction to APU “Bandera” greetings, he introduced in the Parliament as urgent on 4 September.
The greeting “Glory to Ukraine” — “Heroes of glory” is a slogan banned in Russia as the Ukrainian insurgent army (UPA), which during the great Patriotic war, cooperated with Nazi Germany.
