Expert centre of the Union of consumers “Roskontrol” conducted a study of the natural roasted ground coffee. It was attended by specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
The study examined samples of seven brands: Paulig, Carte Noire, oro Lavazza, Tchibo Exclusive, Bushido, Davidoff and “Jockey”.
The experts evaluated such parameters as taste, aroma, color, balance, density, texture, and aftertaste of coffee. The highest grade received Davidoff — 8.8 points. Behind it stands Lavazza orro (eight points), Paulig (7,4), Tchibo Exclusive (6,6), Jockey (5,8) and Carte Noire (5,2). Last place went to the drink under the brand of Bushido — 3.6 points. He was found to have long-lasting unpleasant aftertaste, dry and watery.
“GOST in the natural coffee caffeine should not be less than 0.7 percent. However, it should be noted that only three manufacturers said that their product is manufactured according to the standard, is Carte Noire, oro Lavazza and Tchibo Exclusive. Paulig developed technical specifications. However, the requirements of the standard can be used for comparative evaluation. Less caffeine in Lavazza oro (0.91 percent) and Bushido (0.92 percent). The most Paulig (1.25 percent), Tchibo Exclusive (1.29 per cent) and “Jockey” (1.51 percent). Davidoff and Carte Noire showed average results: 1.08% and 1.07% respectively”, — quotes the words of the chief expert of “Roskontrol” Irina Arbatovoj.
The study coffee Bushido was added to the list of goods with remarks. All other brands are recommended for purchase.
