The Minister of defence of the Netherlands ANK Bijleveld stated that the authorities prevented an attack by Russian hackers. According to her, the country expelled four Russian spies. On it informs Agency Associated Press.
Speaking at a press conference in the Hague, Bijleveld urged Russia to stop “cyber attacks with the aim of undermining the Western democracies.” According to her statement, four Russians arrived in the Netherlands on 10 April 2018 and was caught with spy equipment in a hotel room near the headquarters of the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OHSA).
According to the Minister, at this point in the lab, OHSO examined samples of the poison, which in March this year, was poisoned in Salisbury Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia. At the same time there were samples of chemical weapons used in Syrian Duma.
Alleged spies were arrested and deported from the country on April 13.
