The role of “the poisoner Skripal” in Yanukovych’s escape from Ukraine

A suspect in the poisoning of former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Ruslan Bashirov, which is also referred to as Russian military intelligence Colonel Anatoly Caigoy, not privy to the events in Ukraine in 2014. This was stated by the lawyer of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych Vitaliy Serdyuk, the TV channel “Rain”.

Serdyuk called the information about participation Chepiga in this operation, the “fake news”. “He was accompanied by only employees and officers of the security service of the President of Ukraine and this fact is established both by the court of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s office,” he says.

The lawyer of the former President noted that the head of the security service of the President of Ukraine Kostyantyn Kobzar only ever applied to the Federal security service (FSO) of Russia. According to him, it happened in the Melitopol district, where they found an ambush.

On 2 October the head of the MIA of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that Bashirov was involved in the removal of Yanukovych to Russia in 2014. Presumably, during this operation he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia. Later, the security guard of former Ukrainian leader promised to tell about the role of “the poisoner Skripal” to the export of the country’s head of state.

On 26 September, the British organization Bellingcat revealed the true identity Bashirova. According to her, one of the “poisoners Skrypalia” — Russian military intelligence Colonel Anatoly Chapiha, noted in 2014, the title of Hero of Russia.

Viktor Yanukovych has left Ukraine after a violent change of power in Kiev. Against the former head of state in Ukraine initiated several criminal cases, his property on the territory of the country were arrested.
