Russian figure skater Evgeny Medvedev spoke for the first time about talking about her envy to compatriot Aline Sagitova triumph at the Olympic games in Pyeongchang. Her words quoted by NBC.

“I want to clarify: judging at the Olympics was really fair. It was the right one. I saw Alina worked all the time. How hard she worked. I don’t know why many people have decided that I think the refereeing in Pyeongchang unfair,” — said Medvedev.

According to a skater, she did not ask to leave Sagitova in juniors for another year. “I don’t remember exactly. If they said something, that’s not what I meant. This statement Tutberidze has led me into confusion. I immediately started thinking: “Where and when could I say?” And I also don’t remember”, she added.

Medvedev left the band Eteri Tutberidze to canadian expert Brian Orser in may 2018. Then Tutberidze said that after a random rental at the Olympics in 2018 Medvedev expressed her claim for failing to leave Sagitova who won the gold medal at the Junior level for another year.

Medvedev’s two — time world and European champion, has twice won the Grand Prix final. At the Olympics the 2018 athlete won the silver medal, losing only to Sagitova.
